Daihatsu Taruna made based on chassis and body Daihatsu Terios, PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor replacing K3 engine (1300 cc) with the type of HE / HD (1500 to 1600 cc), increasing the distance a car axle, and then converting from the front wheel drive to rear wheel drive with the parts of Daihatsu Feroza.
